BEHOLD, HE COMES AS A THIEF IN THE NIGHT
Steven Christopher once again accepts an important call from the LDS prophet, and he and his wife, Mary, become eyewitnesses to the momentous events of the world hurling toward its final destiny. Their faith in God is tested to the utmost when they are faced with extreme uncertainty and the possibility of great personal loss.
Gerald Galloway, the tyrannical leader of UGOT, orders his mighty coalition armies to mobilize and advance on Israel, with instructions to wreak destruction and bloodshed against all the Jewish and Christian communities they encounter as they move toward the land of Palestine. His primary goals are to destroy the Jews he hates so much and to rule the earth by means of his Satan-inspired government.
The decent and freedom-loving people of several countries refuse to support UGOT in its evil designs and they risk their lives to travel under perilous circumstances to fight in behalf of Israel in the greatest war in human history—Armageddon. But as scripture foretells, the Lord will not abandon his people in the terrible war against Gog and Magog.
End of the World, the fourth and final novel in the Last Days series, brings to life the scriptural prophecies concerning the final scenes of the earth’s history and how these pivotal events might effect the people of Israel, their Arab neighbors, and the saints of New Zion. Kenneth R. Tarr’s in-depth research makes this novel, which includes a depiction of the Second Coming, the resurrection, and life during the Millennium, not only thoroughly engrossing but realistic according to LDS doctrine.

I've had a hard time rating this book because it's hard to separate the 4 books in the series. So I'm going to give a rating on the series. The first book I didn't like until after I read the second book and got a better understanding of where the author was going with the series. Then I had a greater appreciation of the first book and loved the second book. I had mixed feelings about the third book. I didn't really like or dislike it. This fourth book had some fast moving parts that kept my interest but it also has some"ho hum" parts that were very slow and boring. I gave 4 stars because it really isn't a bad series but it also isn't a really good plot. The editing was excellent so I gave an extra star for that, but I'm hesitant to recommend this book because it really isn't among my favorites and I'm not sure that I will read any more of this author's books.Product details

End of the World The Last Days Book 4 edition by Kenneth R Tarr Religion Spirituality eBooks Reviews
Author lost track of novel with so much prophetic info. So much to get in that the story suffered. However, I did enjoy the series and I would recommend it to others.
I enjoyed these books very much. The characters were easy to believe and I enjoyed meeting them, The story was engaging. Giving me much to ponder in my own life
I enjoyed this book and all the books in this series. They were interesting, exciting, and thought-provoking. Thank you Kenneth Tate for these great books!
I really enjoyed all four books in the series. They are fast moving and present a plausible example of how many of the prophecies could be fulfilled.
In End of the World the siege of Jerusalem takes place and the overthrow of the conspiracy bent on ruling the world. It covers the deliverance and conversion of the Jews, the Second Coming, life in the Millennium and the final judgement.
The only thing I thought could be improved was the depiction of the two prophets in Jerusalem.
I am also glad that the author hasn't claimed he saw it all in a vision or NDE. Just a fun novel on a special subject.
I do appreciate time that was put in for the history in these books. I finally read all four books and it is wonderfully written throughout. The conversations with the characters were on point. If a person ever wondered how things are going to be and you don't understand, this book will explain it. But you have to read all four. I checked my Bible for accuracy - if that don't make you think, I don't know what will. The storyline is amazing. I got the point of the stories - Thank God!
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this series. I just finished the last book, The End Of The World. I gave it 5 stars because it was easy to read, the characters were well developed and I always looked forward to picking up the book again and picking up their adventures once again. This book was comforting and gave me a sense of peace as I read, making for some late night reading marathons, but hey, that's part of the fun of it, no?
This book was too long and wordy. Yes, too many little details that were unnecessarily explained. The description of the wars was long and tedious. I even skimmed through some chapters, and still the plot wouldn't move forward. In the end I wasn't sure I remembered who the characters were. So many of them! So, I guess it was an ok book.
I've had a hard time rating this book because it's hard to separate the 4 books in the series. So I'm going to give a rating on the series.
